Join FROG for a weekend of fun! Whether you want to bring the kids or grandkids, or whether you're just a kid at heart, you can look forward to a great time.
For 2018, Knoebel's is a Triple Winner of the coveted Golden Ticket Award, presented internationally by Amusement Today. Knoebel's was singled out for the Best Food; for Best Wooden Coaster, the Phoenix; and for Best Carousel, the Grand Carousel, which has been honored each of the eighteen years that the award has existed.
You'll be staying just a few miles from Knoebel’s Amusement Park in Catawissa, PA, with full hookup camping at beautiful Lake Glory Campground.
THE "OFFICIAL" DATES OF THIS EVENT ARE FROM JUNE 12 TO JUNE 16 (4 NIGHTS), but you can tailor your schedule to fit your needs. Your stay will include full hookup camping at Lake Glory Campground, a potluck Hors D’oeuvres/Snacks during the Meet and Greet Friday night, and a Saturday night catered dinner provided by FROG at the Amusement Park. The campground offers a free shuttle to and from the park.
AS A SPECIAL ADDED FEATURE, we have received confirmation that Forest River's Brian Moran will conduct two service presentations -- a seminar and a Q&A session (not providing hands-on service), tentatively scheduled for Thursday and Friday.
The Park offers FREE admission and parking. Your hosts Rennie (DBLR) and Beth Roberts have arranged a discounted ride ticket package that can be purchased during the Meet and Greet Friday Night.
The park (http://www.knoebels.com/) has 6 awesome rollercoasters, as well as more than 75 other amazing family rides and shows. The most expensive ride in the park is only 3 dollars (in tickets) per person! The water park pass is available separately as it is an all-day pass, and a golf course owned by the park is located nearby.
Other local attractions in the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside include the Eckley Miners' Village Museum (www.eckleyminersvillage.com), Caboose Lodge and Catawissa Railroad Museum (www.visitpa.com/pa-railroads/caboose-lodge-catawissa-railroad-museum), numerous covered bridges, and much more!
THIS EVENT IS NOW FILLED AND HAS A STANDBY LIST.
To get on the standby list, please call the Lake Glory Campground at (570) 356-7392 Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Whey you speak with Monica, but sure to tell her that you're with the FROG Rally and would like to be on standby.
PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR RESERVATION by sending an e-mail to Rennie and Beth Roberts at Wacko102@verizon.net or Wac109@verizon.net to let them know you'll be joining in on the fun. If you're at the campground but not confirmed with Rennie and Beth, you won't be included in the Rally activities.
