2021 Holiday Festival of Lights

December 5-10, 2021

Join FROG for a Christmas tradition, the Holiday Festival of Lights in beautiful Charleston, SC.  Camp in the middle of over 600 displays and 3,000,000 lights.  Enjoy great food, historic sites, beautiful architecture, and more, along with a dazzling display that has frequently been named as one of the Top 10 Christmas displays in America.

Experience six nights of full hookup camping in beautiful James Island County Park, surrounded by the dazzling lighted displays.  Enjoy a welcome bar-b-q dinner; tour the historic downtown Charleston peninsula by horse-drawn carriage; cruise to Fort Sumter at the mouth of Charleston Harbor; visit an indigo and rice plantation; tour the USS Yorktown aircraft carrier, veteran of of World War II, Korea and Vietnam, and the recovery ship for Apollo 8, the first manned lunar orbital mission.  We'll share dinner at one of Charleston's most famous seafood restaurants (non-seafood items available); have time to explore the festival and the Charleston area on our own, and much more.

At the Holiday Festival of Lights, travel through the dazzling light displays.  Admire the handiwork of carving a Christmas-themed sculpture from fifty tons of sand.  Ride a minitature train.  Make s'mores over a group fire pit.  Ride the old-fashioned carousel.  Maybe even visit that Jolly Old Elf from the North Pole.  (Just remember, he knows if you've been naughty or nice!)
